Our story

Sports Gold Guard LLC is a Texas company that does two jobs. We publish independent reporting on how technology and AI change the way athletes train, teams compete and fans watch. And we build FansPulse, a social sports streaming platform for the hours when the game is on and you want company.

Why we started with the fan’s side of the screen

Think about the last big game you watched. You had the broadcast on the TV, a score app on your phone, a group chat with three friends and maybe a creator’s stream in another tab so you could hear someone you trust react to the call. You spent half the fourth quarter switching apps.

We kept running into that problem while covering sports technology. Leagues invest heavily in tracking data, stadium networks and streaming apps, yet fans still stitch their own game night together from five places. Our reporting asks who that technology serves. FansPulse is our answer for the fan.

What the newsroom covers

SGG reports on three beats that overlap more each season:

  • Sports: the leagues, athletes and business decisions behind the games, from the NBA and NFL to the fast growth of women’s sports.
  • Technology: stadium networks, streaming, wearables and the tools creators use to cover games.
  • AI & innovation: player tracking, automated highlights, officiating systems and the data models teams use to make decisions.

We write for informed fans. You will find explainers that define the jargon, analysis that names the companies and leagues involved, and links to the primary sources we used. Our editorial standards explain how we report, correct mistakes and keep commercial interests away from coverage decisions.

How FansPulse grew out of the publication

FansPulse puts everything around a live game in one place: live scores, creators calling the action, watch parties with your friends, and fan communities that follow the same team you do. You pick the parts you want and skip the rest.

The platform covers leagues including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and MLS on desktop, tablet and mobile. Fans join free, with optional paid tiers. Creators and athletes host commentary on video or audio, while fans watch the official broadcast through their own provider. FansPulse does not take bets.

Sports Gold Guard LLC operates FansPulse under the name FansPulse. Learn more on the FansPulse page.

Editorial independence

Owning a product creates an obvious question for a newsroom. Our answer: when SGG writes about FansPulse or a company that competes with it, we say so in the story. Sponsors and partners never see stories before publication, and they cannot buy coverage. Our advertising disclosure lists how we label paid placements and affiliate links.
