Editorial Standards
How Sports Gold Guard reports, sources, uses AI tools, corrects mistakes and keeps its own product and advertisers away from coverage decisions.
What we publish
Sports Gold Guard reports on sports, technology and AI for informed fans. We publish news, analysis and explainers. We label opinion and sponsored content so you can tell them apart from reporting.
Sourcing and verification
- We link to primary sources: league announcements, company filings, research papers and original reporting by other outlets.
- We credit other publications when we build on their reporting.
- We confirm numbers with the source that published them and say where a figure comes from.
- We grant anonymity only when a source faces real risk, and an editor must know the source’s identity.
- We do not invent quotes, composite characters or events.
How we use AI tools
Our team may use AI tools to research background, summarize public documents, check spelling and suggest headlines. A human editor reviews and approves every story before publication and owns its accuracy. We do not publish AI-generated images as news photos. If AI tools played a substantial role in creating a piece, we say so in the story.
Independence and FansPulse
Sports Gold Guard LLC also builds and operates FansPulse. When a story mentions FansPulse or a direct competitor, we disclose that relationship in the story. FansPulse staff do not edit or approve newsroom coverage.
Advertisers, sponsors and partners never review stories before publication and cannot buy coverage. Our advertising disclosure explains how we label paid content and affiliate links.
Corrections policy
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. We add a dated correction note at the end of the story that explains what changed. We fix typos and broken links without a note. We do not delete stories to hide errors.
To report an error, use our contact form and choose “Correction request”, or email [email protected] with the story link. An editor reviews each request within two business days.
Updates
Stories about developing events may change as we learn more. We show an “Updated” date on the story when we add new information.
