Copyright & DMCA Policy
How to report content on sportsgoldguard.com that you believe infringes your copyright, and how to file a counter-notice.
Before launch, Sports Gold Guard LLC must register a designated DMCA agent with the US Copyright Office and add the agent’s mailing address below. This page is a template for attorney review.
Our approach
We respect the rights of photographers, writers and other creators, and we expect the same from anyone who sends us material. We respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Send a takedown notice
Email [email protected] with “DMCA notice” in the subject line. Include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe someone infringed.
- The URL of the material on our site.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own or may act for the owner of the right.
Send a counter-notice
If we removed material you posted or supplied and you believe we made a mistake, email [email protected] with “DMCA counter-notice” in the subject line. Include your signature, the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or Texas if you live outside the US). We may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
