FanPulse uses cookies, local storage, software development kits, pixels, and similar technologies to operate, secure, remember, measure, and improve the service.
1. Categories
1.1 Strictly Necessary. Used for login, authentication, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, consent choices, account settings, payment flow, and service continuity. These technologies cannot always be disabled through the FanPulse interface.
1.2 Preferences. Used to remember teams, sports, leagues, language, theme, accessibility, volume, playback, feed, and display choices.
1.3 Analytics and Performance. Used to measure pages, features, errors, playback, load times, game room use, and general engagement. FanPulse configures analytics to minimize unnecessary collection and honor required consent choices.
1.4 Advertising and Measurement. Used to deliver and measure ads. At launch, FanPulse limits this category to contextual and first party advertising unless the Privacy Policy, consent interface, contractual controls, and state opt outs are updated for cross context behavioral advertising.
1.5 Referral and Ambassador Attribution. A first party referral cookie or signed token may remember the referral source for thirty days. It may contain or reference a visitor identifier, referral link identifier, campaign identifier, timestamp, and integrity signature. It is used for attribution, fraud prevention, and payment calculation, not for unrelated cross site advertising.
2. Choices
Users may use the cookie settings link to accept or reject optional categories. Browser and device settings may also block or delete technologies. Some features may not work correctly after blocking necessary storage. Where required, FanPulse will recognize Global Privacy Control or another legally recognized universal opt out signal for sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. A signal does not necessarily block strictly necessary or first party preference technologies.
3. Retention
Session cookies expire when the session ends. Persistent cookies expire according to their stated duration. Referral attribution is normally thirty days. Consent records may be retained longer to demonstrate legal compliance.
